About Divine Strength Apostolic Center
Divine Strength Apostolic Center welcomes everyone to join us in celebrating Jesus every Sunday at 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Our desire as a church is to share the Good News of Salvation and the love of God with you and your family. If you do not have a permanent home church, we would love to have you become a part of our spiritual family. Our services on Sunday are bilingual and we also have a children’s ministry for children from 3 to 8 years of age. If you have a need for prayer, please write and let us know, we will take your need in prayer to the Lord.

About the Pastor
Dr. Pastor Baldemar Rodriguez gave his heart to the Lord at the age of 20 years old and he was ordained to the ministry at the age of 22. In his ministry he has served on different ministry levels: Elder at the age of 26, District Bishop at the age of 30 and as Bishop President at the age of 37. Pastor Rodriguez has a vast experience in the Church’s ministry.
He was born Feb. 4, 1941 in the state of Texas. His parents are the late Luis Garcia Rodriguez and Zoila Torres de Rodriguez. The home of Luis and Zoila Rodriguez was blessed with 11 children; 9 boys and 2 girls. Pastor Rodriguez was baptized Feb. 19, 1961 at the age of 20 years by the late Pastor Jose Garcia who was the Pastor of the Apostolic Church in Sebastian, Texas. In the first year of his baptism, the Lord gave Pastor Rodriguez the inspiration of his first hymn called, “Ayudame Senor.” This would be the first of many hymns that he was blessed with that are presently in the Apostolic Hymnal. In Dec. 26, 1962, he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and in 1963 he was initiated into the Apostolic ministry and ordained Nov. 3 of the same year. His first Pastorship was Mission, Texas. On Sept. 11, 1965 he married Homa Lee Candelaria also from Mission, Texas and on April 10,1975, the Lord blessed them with a beautiful daughter - Judy Elizabeth Rodriguez.
In 1978 Pastor Rodriguez was for the first time elected Bishop President of the Apostolic Assembly. He was re elected to the same position in 1982. He also served two terms as Bishop Vice President from 1986 - 1994. Nov 1994, he was once again elected as Bishop President of the Apostolic Assembly. In 1990 he graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Ca. with a Masters of Arts Degree. In 1998 he was once again re-elected as Bishop President and this would be his fourth term in office where he served till the year 2002. Pastor Rodriguez continued vigilently with his studies and in 2001 he received an honorary Doctorate Degree from the Apostolic Assembly. He has also earned and received a Doctorate Degree in Pastoral Theology at Logos University in Jacksonville, Florida. God continues to bless him! He and his wife are presently pastoring Divine Strength Apostolic Center in the city of Rialto, Ca. For all of this, Pastor Rodriguez gives God all the glory!
